音訊硬體資源管理

Windows 10 包含使用 XML 檔案來表示並行限制的功能。 在資源限制裝置上,指定特定音訊串流優先順序的能力可以增強客戶體驗。

在低成本膝上型電腦或平板電腦裝置上建立良好音訊體驗的一個挑戰是,某些裝置具有各種並行限制。 例如,裝置可能只能同時播放最多 6 個音訊串流,而且只支援 2 個卸載數據流。 當有即時音訊的作用中視訊通話時,裝置可能只支援 2 個音訊串流。 當裝置擷取音訊時,裝置最多只能播放 4 個音訊串流。

Windows 10 包含一種機制,可表達並行限制,以確保高優先順序音訊串流能夠播放。 如果系統沒有足夠的資源,則會終止低優先順序數據流。

指定並行資源條件約束

XML 條件約束檔案是由三個區段所組成。 第一個必要區段是由 <限制></限制>所定義。 本節可用來定義最多 15 個資源限制。 例如,您可以定義轉譯數據流數目上限和可卸載之數據流數目上限的條件約束。

TopologyName 的通配符選項

資源群組 - 擴充音訊資源管理

從 Windows 11 開始,即可使用資源群組。 資源群組允許將端點指派給 XML 中預先定義的不同資源群組。 資源群組允許根據定義的限制來配置音訊資源,例如串流。

建立數據流之前,音訊硬體資源管理員會決定要使用的資源群組,並通知指派群組的驅動程式。 當音訊硬體資源管理員偵測到衝突時,將最高優先順序數據流轉譯為最高優先順序端點(目前預設值)會指派慣用的資源群組,而較低優先順序的數據流將會收到下一個可用的資源群組。 此程式會重複執行,直到沒有更多數據流或不再有資源為止。 資源耗盡時,建立最低優先順序數據流會傳回失敗,指出資源不足。

指派資源群組時,音訊端點會通知指派的資源群組。 資源 XML 會宣告哪些資源群組適用於端點,依優先順序/喜好設定的順序,並視需要在支援的資源群組之間移動端點,以符合整體系統資源需求。

如果沒有資源群組,在 Windows 11 之前的版本中,資源管理系統會假設硬體資源有限,但這些資源可以自由地移至音頻端點 (DSP MIPS)。 例如,系統可以建立最多三個卸除數據流、一個通訊串流,以及一次一個語音串流,跨越任何音訊端點的組合。 宣告和使用資源時,它們全都來自單一集區。 這可視為在所有音訊端點之間共用單一資源群組。 因為只有一個資源群組,因此不需要通知驅動程式正在使用哪個群組。

範例資源群組案例

例如,如果驅動程式有兩個音訊端點和兩個用於轉譯音訊的分隔路徑,一個是透過 DSP,另一個則沒有 DSP。 在預先選擇時,任一個路徑都可用於任一端點,但指派給使用 DSP 的端點會獨佔使用 DSP,而且端點的所有音訊都必須通過 dsp。 亦即這兩個路徑之間沒有混音。

相較於沒有 DSP 的端點,DSP 會有不同的資源條件約束和功能。 在兩個端點之間交換資源時,需要終止這兩個端點上的所有音訊、重新指派硬體,然後音訊可以繼續。 由於在端點上建立任何數據流之前,是否需要先選擇是否要使用 DSP,因此必須在驅動程式外部做出決策。 如果發生衝突,兩個應用程式同時想要使用 DSP 功能,則會使用資源群組來決定哪一個端點會取得哪個資源。

每個資源群組都是使用自己的一組資源來建立,但也可以選擇性地使用全域共用資源。 例如, 可以定義 DSPGroup 來允許兩個卸載數據流和主機語音串流,而 NoDSPGroup 只允許一個卸除數據流,而沒有主機語音串流。 此定義可讓最多三個卸除數據流一次處於作用中狀態。 系統也可以一次最多共用兩個卸載數據流,同時在 DSPGroup 和 NoDSPGroup 之間共用。

建立數據流時,會根據所建立的數據流類型,以及數據流和端點的優先順序,將它指派給 DSPGroup 或 NoDSPGroup。 如果已建立的數據流卸除,則會將它指派給 DSPGroup,如果不是,則可以將它指派給 DSPGroup 或 NoDSPGroup。

資源群組配置行為

  • 啟動時,將會從外部資源管理員配置現有的全域資源。 然後,每個資源群組都會有配置給外部資源管理員的資源,計數等於該群組的最大實例。

  • 在運行時間,每個端點只會與一個資源群組相關聯。

  • 該端點上的數據流只能存取相關聯資源群組內的資源。

  • 您也可以使用來自原始全域共用集區的資源。

  • 在端點上建立第一個數據流時,將會取得必要的端點資源條件約束。 當端點上最後一個數據流關閉時,條件約束將會釋放。

  • 當端點指派資源群組時,必須通知指派的資源群組。
