Receipt Date Field, Transfer Line Table

Contains the date that you expect the transfer-to location to receive the items on this line.

The contents of the Receipt Date field on the transfer header is copied to each line, but you can change this date on each line.

The planning system uses the following lead time elements to calculate the receipt date of a transfer order:

  • Shipment Date + Outbound Warehouse Handling Time = Starting Date

  • Starting Date + Shipping Time = Ending Date

  • Ending Date + Inbound Warehouse Handling Time = Receipt Date

Note

The lead time calculation of any replenishment order (purchase or production) at the transfer-from location would precede the above elements and thereby affect the total plan of such a transfer order.
