All Notes Off Button

The Output Status Toolbar contains an All Notes Off button, sometimes referred to as a MIDI panic button. Use it to turn off all MIDI notes when some notes continue to play after you have stopped playback of a component. This can sometimes happen when MIDI note-off commands are interrupted.
