Chordmap Properties

Though you can change chordmap properties at any time, it is recommended that you set the basic properties of a new chordmap before inserting chords and other elements.

The Properties Window for a chordmap in the project tree contains the following tabs:

  • Chordmap Tab

Contains most of the major settings for the chordmap properties.

  • Underlying Scale Tab

Contains the scale used for the seven chord root tones that are primary to the chordmap, and used to create a custom chord palette.

  • Audition Tab

Contains settings for testing playback of the chordmap in combination with a style component.

  • Info Tab

Contains generic descriptive information about the component.
