Chord Track

The chord track contains a progression of chords determining the transposition of notes in a style or Pattern Track. Chord changes can occur as often as once per beat.

If you do not include a chord track in a segment, or if you leave the chord track empty, the segment plays using a default chord of 2 C M7, equal to a middle range C major 7th chord. If the first chord in the track does not occur on the first beat of the first measure, the segment plays using 2CM7 until the first chord arrives.

The chord track does not affect the pitch of sounds in a Sequence Track or Wave Track.
