Groove Level Properties

The Properties window contains the following groups of controls:

  • Embellishment

If a special embellishment pattern is to be played at this point, select the embellishment type. If not, select None. If you select Custom, enter a value in the Custom Embellishment box, in the range from 100 to 199, or use the up-down arrows to select a value. This value should correspond to a custom embellishment assigned to at least one pattern in the Pattern Properties window.

  • Groove Level

Enter or select a value in the range from 1 to 100. In the box labeled with the plus/minus sign, enter or select a value to create a range above and below the base groove level within which the groove level can be randomized. For example, in the illustration the groove level can range between 40 and 60.

Click None to specify that the groove range of patterns is not taken into account when selecting a pattern.

  • Repeat Pattern

Select the manner in which multiple matching patterns are to be selected as the segment loops. The choices are shown in the following table.
