Shortcut Menus

Shortcut menus are used throughout DirectMusic Producer to provide lists of commands that apply specifically to an object or item you are editing. You can display the shortcut menu for almost any item on the screen by right-clicking it. This includes right-clicking a component icon in the project tree, or right-clicking an object in the Editing Window.

Shortcut menus also contain a Properties command that displays the Properties Window for the selected object. You can use the Properties window to view and change the properties of almost every object represented on the screen.
