Editing Window

When you double-click music components in the project tree, they are displayed in an editing window using the design module for that type of component.

Although more than one editing window can be open, only one component at a time is active and available for editing. The active component is highlighted in the project tree. DirectMusic Producer automatically switches to the required design module for the component displayed in the active window. For an illustration, see Main Window.
