View all holds on a record

View all holds on a record when you want to see the list of holds to which a record has been added. For example, if a record is relevant to two different court cases, then two separate holds can be placed on that record.

Important

Membership in the Owners group, or equivalent, is the minimum required to complete this procedure.

To view all holds on a record

Use this procedure to view all holds on a record.

View all holds on a record

  1. Open the list or library that contains the record for which you want to view the hold information.

  2. Point to the record that you want, click the arrow that appears, and then click Manage Holds.

  3. At the top of the Item Hold Status page, view the list of holds that apply to the record.

    Note

    This information is also displayed along with the properties for the record.
