Before you perform this procedure, confirm that:
You have read the topic Monitor usage reports for personalization.
Your system is running Windows Server 2003 and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 with the latest service pack and updates.
Important
Membership in the site collection administrators group, or equivalent, is required to complete this procedure.
To view the site collection usage summary page
Use this procedure to view the site collection usage summary page. You can view statistics about storage space, page hits, number of users, and bandwidth usage across your site collection. That information can be used to improve the performance and usefulness of the site collection.
View the site collection usage summary page
On the top-level site of the collection, on the Site Actions menu, point to Site Settings, and then click Modify All Site Settings.
On the Site Settings page, in the Site Collection Administration section, click Usage summary.
Note
Site collection usage summary pages are only available from the top-level sites for individual personal sites and the Shared Services Administration site. Other site collections provide site collection usage reports instead. For more information about viewing site collection usage reports, see View site collection usage reports.
