Edit Script Step Dialog Box (Compact 7)

The Edit Script Step dialog box appears when you choose Add or Edit in the Configure Script dialog box. In the Edit Script Step dialog box, you can define a step by selecting a command and specifying the parameter.

  • Command
    Specifies the command to run for this step.

    The contents of the list box vary according to the option you select in the Command box.

    To run a custom command, choose Run Command and enter the absolute path of the command as the parameter.

  • Ellipsis (…)
    Displays all available parameters for the command you select in the Command box.

    This button is deactivated if the command does not require parameters or if the command requires you to type the parameters manually. For more information, see the explanation window in the Edit Script Step dialog box.

  • OK
    Saves changes to your settings and closes the Edit Script Step dialog box.
  • Cancel
    Discards changes to your settings and closes the Edit Script Step dialog box.
