Media Library Catalog Items and Sysgen Variables (Compact 7)

In Windows Embedded Compact, you can add support for the Media Library to search for media content on data sources such as local file plug-ins or Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) sources. You can browse, update, and insert media items in the Media Library.

Hardware and Software Requirements
- Requires a media player and support for media file formats. For more information, see Windows Media Player Catalog Items and Sysgen Variables and Encoded Media Catalog Items and Sysgen Variables.
- Requires SYSGEN_MEDIAAPPS_MEDIARENDERER to support a media renderer. For more information, see UPnP Catalog Items and Sysgen Variables.
