Drivers: Post-Development Tasks
After developing your driver, you may want to integrate your driver into the Platform Builder Catalog. This allows you to include it in any project created from within Platform Builder. There are two ways to add drivers to the Catalog. You can use the BSP Wizard to create a new .cec file, or you can use the CEC Editor to copy and edit an existing .cec file. The first method of using the BSP Wizard is less complicated and preferred.
The following list shows various tasks you can carry out after completing your driver:
- Adding a Boot Loader to a BSP Definition
- Adding a Driver to an Existing BSP
- Cab Wizard Overview
- Cloning an Existing BSP
- Creating a .cec File for a Driver
- Creating a New BSP Definition
- Exporting Features from the Catalog
- Loading a Debugging Extension
- Copying and Modifying an Existing .cec File for a Driver
- Reverting to an Empty Catalog
