<Application_Name> - Issues
Applies To: Windows 7, Windows Vista
The Issues tab of the <Application_Name> dialog box enables you to view the following information for each of the known application issues:
The issue status, either active (a red X) or resolved (a green check mark).
The provider and the subprovider that added the issue.
The severity of the issue, as entered by the provider and the subprovider.
The issue title, as entered by the provider and the subprovider.
The symptom, as entered by the provider and the subprovider.
The date the issue was added to the ACT database.
To access the Issues tab of the <Application_Name> dialog box
Click Analyze from the Quick Reports pane.
Click Applications from the appropriate operating system heading in the Quick Reports pane. For example, click Applications from underneath the Windows 7 Reports heading.
The <Operating_System> - Application Report screen appears.
Double-click the name of the application for which you want to see the associated details.
The <Application_Name> dialog box appears, with the Assessment tab showing.
Click the Issues tab.
Using the Issues Tab
On the Issues tab of the <Application_Name> dialog box, perform the following actions:
Review the detailed compatibility issue information.
Select your assessment for the issue. For more information, see Selecting Your Assessment Rating.
Select your deployment status for the issue. For more information, see Selecting Your Deployment Status.
Categorize your data. For more information, see Categorizing Your Data.
Prioritize the data. For more information, see Prioritizing Your Data.
Determine whether to synchronize your specific application data with the Microsoft® Compatibility Exchange. For more information, see Selecting Your Send and Receive Status.
Add, edit, or resolve an issue for the selected application. For more information, see Adding or Editing an Issue and Resolving an Issue.
Add or edit a solution for the issue. For more information, see Adding or Editing a Solution.
