Known Issues with Windows Server 2008 R2

The following are known issues for Windows Server 2008 R2:

• Support for smart card logon with the Enhanced Key Usage for Transport Layer Security Client Authentication

• Windows Search group policy "Prevent indexing of certain file types" stops working when indexer is rebuilt

• Advanced guidelines for diagnosing and fixing servicing corruption

• WMI namespace security customizations are missing after upgrading to Windows Server 2008 R2

• The network interface priority in a Cluster Shared Volume does not immediately change after an interface with higher priority is available

• Import of a Hyper-V virtual machine in Windows Server 2008 + KB950050 without data to Windows Server 2008 R2 fails

• Changing the properties on a physical adapter that is bound to a virtual switch is not supported.

• Cannot attach a network ISO when remotely managing a server running Hyper-V

• AppLocker Rules with Publisher Conditions Cannot be Automatically Generated for Digitally Signed Scripts

• Error: The security database on the server does not have a computer account for this workstation trust relationship

• The Remote Desktop roles may no longer work correctly after you apply a security policy created with the Security Configuration Wizard.

• Trust utilities allow an administrator to create and validate external trusts on NTLM blocked domains
