ID3D10EffectSamplerVariable::GetBackingStore method (d3d10effect.h)

Get a pointer to a variable that contains sampler state.

Syntax

HRESULT GetBackingStore(
  [in] UINT               Index,
  [in] D3D10_SAMPLER_DESC *pSamplerDesc
);

Parameters

[in] Index

Type: UINT

Index into an array of sampler descriptions. If there is only one sampler variable in the effect, use 0.

[in] pSamplerDesc

Type: D3D10_SAMPLER_DESC*

A pointer to a sampler description (see D3D10_SAMPLER_DESC).

Return value

Type: HRESULT

Returns one of the following Direct3D 10 Return Codes.
