PR_CE_PREFERRED_DOWNLOAD_FORMAT

The PR_CE_PREFERRED_DOWNLOAD_FORMAT property contains the message format that a Messaging Transport should prefer to retrieve if available. Values are members of the MESSAGEFORMAT enumeration.

Remarks

This property is set in the Messaging Application's User Interface (typically the Account Setup Wizard).

This property works only with Messaging Transports that are capable of reading this property, which use this information to guide initial message download. Such Messaging Transports can not guarantee that it will fetch the correct message format because e-mail messages do not have to support all of the messaging formats.

The Messaging Application can override this property for any given message by using the PR_CE_PENDING_BODY_FORMAT property.
