Flow 6: FDRM-Protected Content Pending Activations

In the case of Sounds accessed through the Settings screen, the default ring tone will be used until the new rights arrive for the selected sound. If new rights are not pushed to the device, it is up to the user to call the content provider to request that the rights be reissued.

Note

Content cannot be previewed if the rights are not active.

Pending activation (FDRM engine)

SoftKey1 has the following actions:

  • Sounds/settings. Protected sound set as ring tone. If the phone rings before the rights have been renewed, the default ring tone will be used.

Other applications return to playlist or list view for the user to choose again.
