How to Set the Discount Priority
You give every discount a priority that determines to apply the discount relative to other discounts that may also apply to a product. (Unlike ads, discounts do not use weights to determine when they are delivered.) Commerce Server 2009 applies discounts from the lowest numeric number to the highest. For example, Commerce Server 2009 applies a discount with a priority of 10 before a discount with a priority of 20. This is true even if the discounts apply to the same award item.
This topic describes how to set the priority of a discount.
