How to: Resolve and Hide Issues
After you run the Best Practices Analyzer tool for Team Foundation Server, you might want to resolve issues that the tool reports. Each time that you click an issue in a report, the system displays an explanation and two options.

The Best Practices Analyzer tool for Team Foundation Server does not resolve issues. The tool will not change your deployment of Team Foundation in any way. The tool only displays information about how to resolve issues. |
Required Permissions
To perform these procedures, you must be a member of the Administrators security group on the computer where the Best Practices Analyzer tool for Team Foundation Server is installed.
To resolve or mask an issue
In the Best Practices Analyzer tool for Team Foundation Server, click List Reports, and open a Critical Issues or All Issues report.
Click an issue listed in the report to open it.
The system displays an explanation and two options.
Click the first option to display more detailed information about the issue and how you can resolve it.
Click the second option to hide or mask all instances of the issue in the reports.
You can view issues that you mask in the Other Reports, Hidden Issues Report.
To display the issues that you have masked
In the Best Practices Analyzer tool for Team Foundation Server, open Other Reports, and click Hidden Issues.
Click an issue listed in the report to open it.
The system displays an explanation and two options.
Click the first option to display more detailed information about the issue and how you can resolve it.
Click the second option to unhide or unmask all instances of the issue in the reports.
