IMsRdpClientAdvancedSettings::put_KeepAliveInterval (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

This method is no longer supported and always returns S_FALSE.

This method sets a value that specifies the time interval, in milliseconds, at which the client sends periodic messages to the server to keep the connection active.

Syntax

HRESULT put_keepAliveInterval( 
    LONG keepAliveInterval
);

Parameters

  • KeepAliveInterval
    [in] Specifies the time interval, in milliseconds, to send periodic keep-alive messages to the server.

    The default value is 0.

Return Value

Returns S_FALSE.

Remarks

This setting is different from the Group Policy setting that specifies whether persistent client connections to the server are allowed. This setting does not affect the other setting.
