Cancel printing all documents

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2

To cancel printing all documents

To cancel, pause, or resume printing on the printer, you must have the Manage Printers permission, which is one of several printer permissions. For more information, click Related Topics.

  1. Open Printers and Faxes.

  2. Right-click the printer for which you want to cancel printing, and then click Cancel All Documents.

  3. When prompted to cancel all documents, click Yes.

    In some cases, the document currently printing will finish, and then all other documents are cancelled.

Notes

  • To open Printers and Faxes, click Start, and then click Printers and Faxes.

  • You can also open the print queue in Printers and Faxes by clicking a printer, and then clicking See what's printing under Tasks on the left side of the window. This option is available only if folders are set to look like a Web page and a printer is selected. For more information, click Related Topics.
