| Regular | 0 | No scripting. Used for .cs/.vb file parsing. |
| Script | 1 | Allows top-level statements, declarations, and optional trailing expression. Used for parsing .csx/.vbx and interactive submissions. |
| Interactive | 2 | The same as Script. |
