Displays the ActionsPane on the task pane, including all controls that have been added to the ActionsPane, but does not display the task pane if the task pane is not visible.

Calling the Show method of the ActionsPane only displays the actions pane and controls if the task pane is visible; it does not display the task pane.
If you want to show the task pane, use the following properties:
For Word, use the Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word.TaskPane.Visible* property of the Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word.TaskPane object that represents the Document Actions task pane.
For Excel, use the Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel._Application.DisplayDocumentActionTaskPane* property of the Microsoft.Office.Tools.Excel.Workbook.Application object.
