Portable Media Player Design Template (Compact 7)

In Windows Embedded Compact, you can use the Portable Media Player design template to create an OS that supports a consumer electronic device that plays and stores digital media.
The design template provides the following configurable features:
- Windows music player
- Windows photo viewer
- Windows video player
- Media Library
- Media Renderer
- Windows Imaging Component
- Support for common media formats
- Wired (LAN) and wireless (802.11) connectivity
- Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) AV control point and device host

When you use the OS Design Wizard in Platform Builder, select the Portable Media Player design template in the Consumer Multimedia Device folder to create an OS for a portable media player.
When you are finished with the OS Design Wizard, you can add other catalog items to your OS design.
