Style Track
The style track contains references to Styles, which supply note patterns and other musical information as the segment plays.
You can insert up to one style per measure in the style track. The first style in the track is considered the primary style for the segment and should be inserted on beat 1 of measure 1.
When you enter a style marker by means other than dragging a style from the project tree, you must select a style in the Style Properties window. Until you do, the marker is displayed as "Empty".
A style track can be assigned to only a single track group, but you can insert a separate style track for each track group in a segment. Use Track Groups to associate styles with their own bands and chord progressions.
Entering a style in the style track automatically enters the style's band in the Band Track. If necessary, a band track is created. Similarly, any tempos in the style are added to the Tempo Track, which is created if necessary.
Markers in the style track are references to the original styles in the project tree. Any subsequent changes made to the original styles will affect the playback of the segment. However, the style's bands are embedded in the segment as new bands. Changes made to the style's band in the project tree do not affect the band in the segment, or the other way around.
