Timeline

Three design modules—Chordmap Designer, Segment Designer, and Pattern Editor—display a timeline, as shown in the following illustration.

The timeline contains the following elements:

• Time Signature

  The time signature is not shown in the timeline in Segment Designer, because it is contained in the Time Signature Track.

• Barlines

  Measure boundaries are shown as heavy black lines.

• Beats

  Beats are shown as thin blue lines.

• Clock Time

  Click the button to turn the display of clock time on and off. For more information, see Real-Time Display.

• Measure Numbers

  Click the button to turn the display of measure numbers on and off when clock time is displayed.
